Matthew Jukes is one of the United Kingdom’s most widely read wine writers, with forty years of experience across retail, buying, broadcasting and journalism. A former buyer for Bibendum Restaurant and long-standing columnist for the Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine and MoneyWeek, he has published fourteen books and multiple annual reports, including his Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piemonte and 100 Best Australian Wines reports.
An internationally recognised authority on Australian wine, he co-founded The Great Australian Red competition and has hosted showcase tastings in London, New York, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Paris, Melbourne and Sydney. He is the founder of One Day Wine School and the creator of Jukes Cordialities, an award-winning alcohol-free drinks range sold globally.
