In the heart of Amsterdam, bordering the city’s green and spacious east neighbourhood, you’ll find the 5-star Hyatt Regency Amsterdam. This cool, contemporary hotel opened in 2017 and is ideal for corporate and leisure travellers visiting this iconic European city.
The hotel is located in the green Plantage neighbourhood amid local attractions, including the reathtaking Hortus Botanicus (Amsterdam’s botanical garden), Artis Royal Zoo and Oosterpark. Indeed, botanical themes coarse through the hotel’s green and vibrant decor. The hotel’s proximity to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Central Station, business districts and RAI Convention Centre, makes it as convenient as it is relaxing.
Hyatt Regency Amsterdam takes its green credentials very seriously and is a proud BREEAM “Excellent” certified urban oasis. A new concept at the hotel is “Five Senses of Botany and Sustainability”, which runs through the rooms and public spaces. A touchpoint of every meetings and events experience, the concept embraces a green ethos in a number of ways, including plant-based menus and a focus on bio and recycled stationery for delegates. This 5-star hotel is not only in sync with the travel minded, but also the mindful traveller.

East meets West
Hyatt Regency Amsterdam’s 211 guest rooms, including 15 suites, offers a contemporary ambience, with flexible furnishings, a large workspace and complimentary high-speed wi-fi. The hotel offers some of the largest guest rooms in Amsterdam, ranging from 30 sqm rooms to 170 sqm for the Presidential Suite. The Regency Club, on the second floor, serves as a second living room and offers complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails and canapes.
Hyatt Regency Amsterdam is also home to a terrific restaurant, Mama Makan, which is inspired by the historic roots that bind Holland and Indonesia. This warm, buzzing neighbourhood establishment serves authentic Indonesian cuisine in a modern, stylish setting. Mama’s signature dish “rijsttafel” is a must. At the bar, which has a courtyard terrace, guests can power up with a Javanese coffee, catch up on emails at the communal table, or sip expertly crafted botanical cocktails over a game of pool.
Fit for business
Hyatt Regency Amsterdam invites guests to maintain their exercise routines in the fully equipped 24-hour fitness centre, or rejuvenate in the wellness area. But, should business call, over 517 sqm of event space is only a lift-ride away.
With all the amenities expected from a five-star hotel, at Hyatt Regency Amsterdam guests are invited to work, play, relax and stay connected.
